This is the official Artist Promo Information page which outlines everything you must submit to be considered for a performance at our 2016 Oakland Pride event. Please carefully read through and follow the instructions in the Artist Promo Kits Section.
The deadline for the Artist Promotional Kit submission is due on August 1, 2016.
Please give careful consideration to your performance – Songs and Performances that convey our theme. Oakland Pride is attended by over 50K people from all walks of life. Consider performance that reach across a broad audience. Work with your material and team – get a strong commitment to show up and perform from all members of your co-performers and support staff. This is you and your groups time to shine. We are collectively coming together to perform for the public, become more visible, and show the world who we are.

Please prepare all of the following items for submission.

- Short description your performance (vocalist, comedian, band, type of music, etc.), including members of your group if applicable.
- Stage Plot – including instruments, mics, props and placement
- Recent Bio (of you and the group as applicable)
- Website, and/or any online social branding sites with your performance/information
- Recent press releases (if available)
- 1 b/w and 1 color professional photo
- Audio CD of the material that you would like to performed (no vinyl, cassettes, or e-mailed MP3 Files). Submit the BEST Quality audio assets that you can produce.
- Promotional DVD (Demo Reel) if available
